I was biking through a grassy plain when my sunhat flew off. I stopped and - while struggling to get my bike stand to keep my bike upright (it literally has ONE job) - a man rode by, got off his bike, and ran after my hat to hand it to me with a smile and a 'no problem' in response to my flustered thanks.

I was sitting on the curb outside the library where I work, feeling worn out but enjoying the gentle warmth of the spring evening, when a young man came by walking his two dogs. He spotted me, and I suppose I looked as tired as I felt. He asked me if everything was ok. I laughed, surprised, and said I was just drained and on break from work.

He asked me if I wanted to pet his dogs. I did, with delight, and he smiled and waved and walked off afterwards.
