❝ kiss me like it’s almost spring,
and you are cold and hungry for my warmth.

kiss me like your lips are numb,
careful and clumsy against my own, earnestly relearning.

kiss me like winter’s ending,
like sun and rain and flowers blooming.

kiss me like you’ve yearned for me,
​and now, at last, I am here, in reach.❞
