Edit 14/11/2020: due to my house being the noisiest place in existence, this is going to be delayed, unfortunately!

Hello! Happy November! I hope you're all doing well! As you can see by my overuse of exclamation marks, I'm very excited, because I have some ~exclusive content~ in the works for you guys!

Last year (wow, time flies) I wrote a fable inspired by three emojis: 🦚, 💧,  👑. This eventually became The Peacock, the Crown, & the River.
It was my first fable and my first children's story, and I wrote it in four hours straight, like some kind of madwoman. I'm very fond of it and I'm looking for an illustrator to work with because I want to publish it with full-colour illustrations.
In the meantime though, I wanted to do something new and fun with this story!

Which leads me to my announcement: I will be reading PCR aloud and sharing it here on my site! Subscribers will be getting access to this a full 48-hours before anyone else! So make sure you sign up to get first dibs on this and other goodies via my newsletter!

Until then, your hyped up writer,

    Book Review Rating System

5 Stars: Loved it, new favourite, unforgettable, highly recommend, would change practically nothing about it

4 Stars: Enjoyed it, would recommend, but there were a few plot/characterization/story elements that I disliked/wished were different

3 Stars: Mostly enjoyable, interesting/engaging but not a standout, there were a lot of plot/characterization/story elements that I disliked/wished were different, or I struggled to get through it

2 Stars: Disliked many/major elements of the plot/characterization/story but something about it kept me reading anyway

1 Star: I read this but didn't enjoy it at all, it had unforgiveable issues in plot/characterization/story elements

DNF: couldn't get through it because of plot/characterization/story elements OR it just wasn't for me, but I might try to read it again
